The Brain, Mind & Behavior Center (BMBC) at Boston Children’s Hospital is a multidisciplinary program in development that’s bringing together specialists in pediatric neurology, psychiatry, developmental medicine, and genetics. Our goal is to create a more integrated approach to caring for children with neurodevelopmental, neurogenetic, and neuropsychiatric conditions and strengthening collaboration among clinicians, researchers, trainees, and families.
As the BMBC model takes shape, we hope to streamline the evaluation process and support more coordinated care by aligning these specialties more closely, enhancing shared decision-making, and creating a clearer path from diagnosis to treatment for children with complex neurological and behavioral challenges.
