The Heart Center welcomes Kshitij Mistry, MD, MS, back to Boston Children’s Hospital as a full-time staff member in Cardiac Critical Care.
Kshitij Mistry, MD, MS, is returning to Boston Children’s Hospital to join the Cardiac Critical Care Division as an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School (HMS). Mistry completed his pediatric residency at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. He subsequently completed a categorical fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2004, also obtaining a Masters in Medical Sciences degree from the Scholars in Clinical Science program at HMS. Since that time, Mistry has focused on quality improvement in the cardiac intensive care environment, including formal medical training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Six-Sigma training at NC State College of Textile Engineering. He most recently helped lead the pediatric heart program at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
